So Sat. was my birthday. I turned 32. I didn't really feel much different at first. Like you really ever do? But then later that night, I started feeling old. For the first time, I really feel old. I hate that. But then I went and got my hair cut. Tough Soles cut my hair. She is awesome! I drove all the way to Burbank for an awesome hair style. I love it! It makes me feel young again! AHAHA
Now I'm out to get a tattoo. I have one so far. It's a tiny heart that my bestest friend, Kathy, gave me when we were 16. Boy did we get busted for that! hahaha When my Dad found out, he was pissed! He said that we could never see each other again. That lasted for a whole month! It was a very tortous whole month too! I thought then, that I could never go that long without seeing Kathy. Then I went and did a jerk manuver and moved back to L.A. Sorry, Kathy! I miss you a whole bunchs and lots!
Big question, what did I do for my birthday? I worked! Oh no, that sucks! No, actually it was fun! Really? Are you feeling alright? AHAHA yeah, Twilight was released at midnight, so it was exciting to see all the giggly girls and a guy or two, come in to buy their very own copy of Twilight! I still haven't finished reading the first book and I started like 5 months ago. I have yet to even see the movie. Even though we have 2 copies of it. Yes, that is 2 copies of the same movie! 1 is a 3disk and the other is a 2 disk. The 3 disk belongs to Megan, who said, "I want my own copy, because I know those kids back there will get it all scratched up!" So that is why we have 2.
Last night Megan had a slumber party. It was suppose to be a Twilight slumber party, but i think that they ended up watching RENT instead. I took her and her 4 friends to a church function last night. It was really awesome! It was International food night. There were several booths displaying different countries and some had samples of the food from there. There was China, Japan (YAY), Mexico, Canada, Ireland, Germany and a few others. Canada had these awesome candy thingys called Nanimeos(?). OMG! They were soooo good!
Today, we are doing something that I have no idea about!

Feb. 20 something...
Now it is Feb. 20 something. (I forgot what day we did this on and I'm not getting up to look!)
Megan and Sarah had decided to have a birthday party together again. I love it when they work together on things like this. It makes things sooo much easier on me and it's heart warming to see that they are getting along.
Anyways, they want a hotel party. That's always fun. I told them that I didn't care how many they invited, just invited whoever.
The question that every parent of a girl dreads came up during the process of arranging this..Can boys stay the night! Eventually we said fine, but that it really was up to the boys parents. We had one boy show up, out of 4 that were invited. What a brave kid! I swear! We had like 14 kids! Only one of Sarah's friends stayed and one of her friends, that is a boy, showed up for swimming. None the less, everyone had a great time! Even us adults. Kristy came with her girls. I was very happy to meet them finally! They are very cute! I had a great time with Kristy and was surprised to find out how much we really had in common! Kristy if you are reading this, we really need to get together...WITHOUT kids! hahaha
I highly recommend hotels for big slumber parties...no clean up! YAY!!!

Jan. 23
Ugg, I totally dropped the ball on this one. No surprise there!
So today is Jan. 23rd and it is Sarah's birthday. She is now 8 years old and is excited that she is finally old enough to be officially a Jr. Derby Doll and she can be baptized. I really didn't know being baptized was that important to her, since she cries every Sunday not to go to church and when we do she cries that she has to go to her classes and then after all is said and done with, she is super happy she went, she had such a great time and all.
Sarah got her ears pierced. Thanks to Tough Soles. She was very excited about them, but her left earring was pinching, so I loosened it a bit and it fell out while she slept. Needless to say by time we found it 6 hours had gone by. Just enough time for her ear hole to close. Ear Hole! AHAHA So we are now waiting for her to gain back her courage to get it pierced again.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BABY! I hope it was a good one for you. You are so sweet and so cute! That smile of yours seems to never fade. I haven't meet such a compassionate kid like you before. You are so aware of other peoples feelings, it's just amazing! You are just amazing! I love you so much!

12 Years Old
Today we celebrate Megan!
12 years ago today at 6:36pm to be exact, Rob and I gave birth to our first child!
It's hard to believe that we are parents of a 12 year old. Imagine how our parents feel!
I had listed all these cute, witty and funny quotes from Megan and some of her important firsts,
but I decided that I'd rather just say how awesome she is.
Megan, you are so beautiful! Ever since you were born, we knew that you had a personality like no other! Your wit is sharp and would say the things that most just only think about. You have never been afraid to question anything no matter how mundane or how complicated. You never had any problems meeting new friends where ever you went, whether it was in the grocery store or in a new apartment building. Our friends and family had one thing to say about you ever time, 'She's a firecracker!' and it was true. Still is!
There is so much that you have done over the years that have filled our lives with joy and laughter. A lot of smiles and a lot of tears.
Megan, Daddy and I are so proud of you! We love you so much!
Happy Birthday!

Another Christmas Morn' Come to Pass
After a not as-long-as-usual night of wrapping presents and watching 1 great and 1 so-so movie, Rob and I were off to sleep and dreams of sugar plums or something like that. As every Christmas morning the kids awake at 7am sharp and try their hardest to arouse mom and dad from their slumber only to be disappointed by our groggy replies of, "Just one more hour!"
By 9am all presents were opened and almost every toy gleefully ripped from it's confines of plastic, wire and tape.
Santa was very good to us this year. Megan received an iHome, Sarah an iPod, Billy a Star Wars Clone Wars illustrated book and Keira finally got the horse that she had been demanding for the past 2 months! I'd say that they were very happy!
But I'd have to say that it was not Santa's gifts that made the kids eyes grow big and their mouths water, but it was a little something-something that Aunt Janie, Aunt Chrissy and Grandma got for the whole family.... An XBox 360 including the games Lego Indiana Jones and Kung Fu Panda! But wait! That's not all! Guitar Hero World Tour! That's right! These kids are rockin' for sure! Even Rob and I got into it! Not as much as I like to...yet! But my interests are not in Guitar Hero, but rather Lego Indiana Jones! Yes, I'm a sucker for the Lego games! So much fun!
Another awesome family gift we received is a DVD player for our car, from my Mom and Step-Dad. It straps to the back of the seats. Now all we need to do is go on a nice road trip! Oregon to Montana to Colorado and lastly Illinois. Sounds good to me! Sigh, if only.....
I should note that although all the gifts we received were wonderful in themselves, our own little Christmas, would not have been as great without the generous gift that my Daddy and Step-Mom sent to us. It was like my gift from Santa. I cried as I closed the card and readied my self for another trip to the bank. I wish I had the chance to hug my Daddy and tell him thank you in person. But that, along with my long road trip, will sadly have to wait! Isn't it the saying though, "Great things come to those who wait!"? Yes, I do believe that is true!

Dear Loved Ones
As I sat here wondering how I could keep everyone in the loop of all things Fabio and not be [too] annoying, a light bulb of sorts went off in my head. "A-ha!" I say, "A blog!"
